Join Harrogate Hospital Radio as a Volunteer - There’s Never Been a Better Time!

Big things are happening at Harrogate Hospital Radio and we want you to be part of it!

With brand new, state of the art broadcasting equipment, new radios across the hospital and a brand-new app making listening easier than ever, we’re transforming how we connect with patients, staff, and the local community. You’ll also be joining a passionate team of volunteers who have recently been nominated for a King’s Award for Voluntary Services, one of the highest honours in UK volunteering.

If you’ve got 2–3 hours a week to spare, we’re now recruiting for a range of exciting volunteer roles, including Radio Presenters, Technical Support, Music Request Collecting, and Community & Station Support.

Whether you want to be on air, behind the scenes, supporting events, or helping shape the future of the station, there’s a role for you. Full training is provided, so no experience is needed - just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. Experience with the Myriad Playout system would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.

This is your chance to learn new skills, meet great people, build confidence and make a real difference to those in hospital and across the Harrogate community.
